Point of Sale (POS)
The point of sale allows you to make quick sales by scanning products by SKU or searching for them manually, with cart control, discounts, and multiple payment methods.
Main Function
The POS is a tool optimized for making quick sales at the workshop counter, allowing you to process transactions efficiently.

Product Search
SKU Search
Enter the product SKU in the search field and press Enter. The product will be automatically added to the cart.
Advanced Search
Click 'Advanced Search' to open a dialog that allows you to search products by name, SKU, or barcode with filtered results.
Shopping Cart
The cart shows all selected products with their quantities, prices, and subtotals.
Add Serial Number
For products with warranty, the serial number button will be enabled and it is mandatory to enter the serial number before registering the sale. For products without warranty, the button will be disabled.
Remove Product
Click the delete icon to remove a product from the cart.
Modify Quantity
Edit the quantity field directly to adjust the quantity of each product.
The POS allows you to apply discounts both at the item level and at the complete sale level.
- Item discounts: You can apply individual discounts to each product (fixed or percentage)
- General discount: Apply a discount to the entire sale (fixed or percentage)
Payment Process
1. Add Products
Search and add products to the cart using SKU or advanced search.
2. Apply Discounts (Optional)
If necessary, apply discounts to specific items or to the entire sale.
3. Verify Serial Numbers (if applicable)
If there are products with warranty in the cart, make sure all have a registered serial number. The system will not allow registering the sale if any required serial number is missing.
4. Select Payment Method and Register
Select the payment method (Cash, Card, or Transfer) and click 'Register Sale'. Inventory will be automatically updated.
The POS supports three main payment methods:
- Cash: For cash payments
- Card: For credit or debit card payments
- Transfer: For bank transfer payments
Total Calculation
Subtotal
Sum of all items in the cart (price × quantity) minus item discounts.
General Discount
Discount applied to the entire sale (can be fixed or percentage of subtotal).
Final Total
Subtotal minus general discount. This is the amount the customer must pay.
